Quality & Formats
We offer multiple quality options depending on the source video: 4K (2160p), 2K (1440p), Full HD (1080p), HD (720p), SD (480p), and lower resolutions. The available options depend on what the creator uploaded.
The download quality depends on the original upload. If a video was uploaded in 1080p, 4K won't be available. We can only provide qualities that exist on YouTube.
For phones: 720p offers great quality with small files. For laptops: 1080p is the sweet spot. For TVs: 4K if available. For audio only: MP3 format.
MP4 is a video format containing both video and audio. MP3 is audio-only. Choose MP4 if you want to watch the video, MP3 if you only need the sound.
Audio is extracted at the highest quality available from YouTube, typically 128-256kbps. This provides excellent quality for normal listening.
Troubleshooting
Common reasons include: the video is private or age-restricted, the URL is incorrect, or there are temporary server issues. Try a different quality option or wait a few minutes and retry.
Make sure you copied the complete URL including "https://". The URL should be from YouTube.com or youtu.be. URLs from other video platforms are not supported.
Ensure the download completed fully (check file size). Try playing with VLC media player which supports all formats. If the file seems corrupted, re-download it.
Download speed depends on your internet connection and the file size. 4K videos are much larger than 720p. Try a lower quality for faster downloads.
Age-restricted videos require YouTube login verification which we cannot provide. These videos cannot be downloaded through our service.
The downloaded quality matches what YouTube provides. If a video looks lower quality, the original was likely uploaded at that resolution.
